What’s Going On in Banff this July 1, 2022
For July 1, Banff is turning its Downtown Pedestrian Zone into an entertainment and activity space for Banff Canada Day 2022.
Events and performances begin at 10:00 AM and finish up afterward at 11:00 PM with a low altitude and low noise fireworks show.
4 main locations have been designated for the Canada Day activities and performances. They are:
- Downtown Pedestrian Zone (100 and 200 Blocks of Banff Avenue, and Caribou Street)
- Bear Street and plaza
- Whyte Museum Grounds beside Bow Avenue
- Banff High School Field on Banff Avenue
This day long event of activities and performances replaces the traditional parade. Furthermore, there are many reasons for this including a wider variety of options for visitors to take part, enjoy the performances as well as providing numerous locations to help with Covid safety and more.
