Banff National Park Fees for 2024

Banff Park Fees information is provided courtesy of Parks Canada!

Fees are charged to enter Banff National Park as well as most historic and heritage sites in Canada. Your Banff Park Pass fees go towards maintaining these sites chiefly for your visit, but furthermore for future preservation so that our next generations can also enjoy and experience these natural beauties in the same fashion.

Youth 17 and under is free!

Firstly, free admission for youth only applies to places managed by Parks Canada. Secondly it does not apply to provincial parks, territorial parks, municipal and private parks, and thirdly nor to the many historic sites not managed by Parks Canada.

Unless otherwise specified, here are the following entry and service fee categories.

Adults are 18 to 64 years of age
Seniors are 65 years of age or over
A Youth is 6 to 17 years of age
Family/Group – up to seven people arriving in a single vehicle in a national park.
