What Is a Day with RK. Heliski Like?

All guests are asked to arrive at 8:00 a.m. for check-in at the RK. Heliski lodge. The morning begins with a hot breakfast, followed by equipment fitting and mountain safety training. By approximately 10:00 a.m., guests are heading into the Purcell Mountains for their first run of the day.

Ski or snowboard with your guide, stop for lunch in the mountains and return to the lodge for après when your runs are complete.

What Is Included in an RK. Heliski Package?

All packages include ACMG-certified guides, powder skis and poles or a snowboard, and a guest pack equipped with avalanche safety gear, including a probe, shovel, radio and avalanche transceiver. Safety training, a hot breakfast, mountain lunch and après-ski snacks are also included.

Guests should bring appropriate ski clothing, including:

A waterproof jacket and pants
Warm layers and base layers
Gloves, goggles and a helmet
Sunscreen, lip balm and water
